Happy New Year, I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. I was at my family's home in Southampton for 10 days and got back yesterday as I have homework to do-boo! It was great to get away as I haven't been back for that long in years and it's the first Christmas in a long time that I haven't been working. I've really appreciated all your responses to me trying to find a genre and song choices for a possible debut album, they are very useful as I want to create something that you will love to listen to as much as I will love singing. However, i've still yet to hear from some of you, so please keep them coming. Also a lot of people are asking questions about musical theatre and how to get involved and start a possible career. I thought about putting a page together of information and advice so I want to compile a list of questions to answer and any help would those would be great. Only a month before I go back on tour with SP, I must go over my script! Lots of love H x |

Hi guys, I've just sent out some mails about the possibility of me recording an album. We're trying to find out what people want and what they can imagine me singing, or the type of music they think i should attempt if i haven't already. It's always good to get feedback from you guys as you've been so supportive. I know no more then that really, it's early stage so we'll have to see. I'm just winding down to Christmas now, this will be the first one in about 3 years where i'll actually be able to spend the whole time at home with my family which i'm really looking forward to. It's nice to have a break as next year's hectic as we're 6 months on the road. We've been lucky up to now as many of the venues have opened the show on a Tuesday, which meant only 7 shows a week, however next year they are packing all 8 shows in, which means 3 matinee days a week-crazy, now that's hard work! I hope you are all on top of your shopping! I'm nearly there actually which is unusual for me, however i haven't started my Xmas cards so i'll get on that tommorrow. Also, thanks for all your birthday messages, i had a great day. I went walking around London with my man and had cream tea in Fortnum and Masson which was very yummy. 25 now, doh! Anyway, speak to you soon and seasons greetings. Lots of love, Helena x |

We finished the first leg of the tour on Saturday. It was a great week. As a company we celebrate each others birthday by buying a card and cake. However quite a few of us have our birthdays in December and so we celebrated them last week, so there was cake every day and I love cake. We also had an award ceremony and Secret Santa so it was a very busy week. Saturday night was a bit crazy. I had a car pick me up at 11.30pm which took me to a hotel in Belfast, then another car to pick me up at 6am to take me to the airport where I then flew to Heathrow and yet another car which got me to BBC Television Centre at 11am. Then we had a 6 hour rehearsal for 'Maria meets Joseph' needless to say I was exhausted and I'd already missed 2 rehearsals because I was on tour and couldn't get to them so there was a lot to catch up on! I'm currently back at home desperately trying to find carpenter/joiners and bathroom fitters, so if anyone lives in London and has any details for me then please let me know. Catch up soon, H x |
